Peace Portal

Established in 1928, Peace Portal is one of the oldest and most majestic golf courses in British Columbia. Nestled amongst massive cedar trees, this par 72 layout effectively combines tree-lined fairways, challenging lies, and small undulating greens.

For over 80 years, Peace Portal Golf Course has been a local favorite and tourist attraction as being one of British Columbia’s first golf courses. The classic layout features 18 holes, a par 72, iconic BC greenery and awe-inspiring old growth trees combined with rolling terrain for a memorable round. The emphasis on most holes is on accuracy, however the 17th hole is an embraced challenge in distance.

The 17th hole is a signature 350-yard drive of Peace Portal. With a large lake to your left, and the Campbell River winding along the right and front of the green, the landing area is surrounded by water. The drive is not your only challenge; an approach shot to a raised green makes club selection an added twist to the game.
