Frequently Asked Questions

We get a lot of questions about the Golf Surrey Pass, so we figured we’d create a Frequently Asked Questions page to hopefully answer some of your burning questions.

If you don’t find the answer to what you’re looking for, please read the Golf Pass Terms and Conditions to see if the answer is there. If not, please send an email to info@golfsurrey.ca and we’ll be happy to help!

Q: When do Golf Passes go on sale?
A: Early Bird passes go on sale in early November, and our Golf Surrey Newsletter Subscribers are the first to know when they go on sale. There is only a limited quantity available, and they typically sell out very quickly. Once they are sold out, there are no more.

Regular Golf Passes go on sale in early March. There is also a limited quantity available, but much larger number than the Early Bird stock. Once they sell out, they are gone until the next year’s pass becomes available.

Q: Why is shipping $10?
A: We use Canada Post Registered Mail to ensure delivery of the passes. Golf Pass purchasers must sign for the package and present identification in order to receive their mail. This also gives us tracking codes so that we can estimate the date your Golf Pass delivery.

Q: Can I pick up my Golf Pass somewhere instead of having it shipping out?
A: At this time, all Golf Passes must be shipped as the Surrey Visitor Centre has now closed.

Q: Can I buy the Golf Pass at any of the Golf Courses or the Discover Surrey Offices?
A: Golf Passes are available for purchase online only using PayPal.

Q: Are Golf Passes tied to the name of the buyer?
A: Golf Passes are not registered to a name. This means you can purchase Golf Passes as gifts and not have to worry about any mail ruining the surprise! This also means you can purchase your passes with friends and share one shipping cost instead of multiple.

Q: If I don’t use all of my rounds, can my pass be extended to next year?
A: Golf Passes are valid for the calendar year noted on the front of the pass, and cannot be extended. If you’re unable to use up your rounds, we suggest giving your pass to a fellow golf-loving friend.

Q: I lost my Golf Pass, can I have a new one?
A: Treat your Golf Pass like a gift card. Discover Surrey and participating courses are not responsible for lost, misdirected or stolen cards.
